An upfront fee is required and stated on the form. The Nevada Attorney General's Office states that this service is a FRAUD and has surfaced in numerous states. Please warn your family, friends, colleagues and clients.

Date: 8-19-09 9:43 pm I actually got one of those letter. They want $189.00. The property tax did go down on my Condo by over $800 for the year but of course the value of the condo is down by more than half. :( Frank |

When the market comes back , your attachd to MGM and you will be ok. I think Walt found out a lot of info for people wanting to reduce their property taxes......Im sure he will share what he found out :12:

You have until sometime in January to do this.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=2]You may want to track home values in your immediate area for the next few months so you have a comparison of what comparable or larger homes have been selling for so you have a ready basis for your appeal.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=2]The Assessor told me that they will take declining values into account for the next bill as they did for the prior one. [/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=2]This is no guarantee that their valuation will reflect current comps so you will want to be prepared. I plan to be ready because I don't think their valuation will be indicative of my true home value. [/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=2]Unfortunately even larger homes in my area are selling right now for less than I paid for my home. Some even include pools and spas.
