| Travel nursing assignment in LV |
Date: 1-12-10 2:45 pm I'm considering a travel nursing assignment in LV for 13 weeks. The company will provide my housing (I don't know where yet, but I'm assuming it will be near the hospitals) and pay for my relocation expenses. I don't know anyone in LV and I have never visited! What do I need to know before taking the assignment? Any advice or personal opinions on the area would be much appreciated! I am from Mississippi and I will be driving my own car for the assignment. Thanks! |

Date: 1-12-10 3:40 pm I have worked with traveling nurses and they seem to love the experience they get here. I would say stay away from gambling but enjoy your time here seeing all that you can in a short 13 weeks. Even though you will be working you can also make this like a nice vacation and experience. Take all the time you can to see all that you can , not just the strip but Valley of fire, Red Rock, Mt. Charleston, the Dam, Boulder City,Lake Havasu,Death Valley,Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and so much more. When you know what hospital you will work at and need help with housing , I would love to help you. Rhonda
